What do DC fans actually want?

Like people are mad that DC isn't locking in and joking about James Gunn announcing casting for the condament king show while Marvel is making $2 billion with BND, has two Avengers movies coming, then an X-Men movie, Black Panther 3 and a Ryan Gosling Ghost Rider movie. But when someone suggests the DCU should be prioratising their heavy hitters like Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash they get annoyed saying they shouldn't rush it or something like that.

Like they're mad that DC isn't locking in, but says don't rush them and your being impatient when its said they should focus on their bigger characters, like huh?! Someone help me understand plz.
