Heavy music creators: what happens after the song is finished?
I’m curious about something, especially from people making metalcore, post-hardcore, deathcore, nu-metal, modern metal, or other heavy music with AI.
Once you finish a song, do you actually try to move beyond Suno, AI-music communities, or Discord?
I don’t just mean uploading it to Spotify or YouTube.
I mean trying to connect with the wider music world:
- music media
- radio
- curators / playlists
- reaction channels
- collaborations
- contests
- live opportunities
- actual heavy-music listeners outside the AI-music space
I’ve been trying to do this myself, and the more I look into it, the more I feel there’s a gap between “I made the song” and “now how do I actually enter the music scene?”
There are plenty of AI-music communities, but from what I’ve seen, a lot of the activity tends to stay inside those communities.
So before I decide what might actually be useful, I’d really like to hear from people who have tried.
Have you tried to move your music outside the AI-music bubble?
What did you try?
What actually worked?
What failed?
What was the biggest barrier?
And if you haven’t tried yet — what’s stopping you?
I’m seriously interested in how AI-made heavy music can become part of the wider heavy-music scene instead of becoming its own closed circle.
Would love to hear your experiences and thoughts.
