Apple CarPlay activation

Hi all, I’ve just recently picked up a 2019 440I LCI edition in the Australian market. Unfortunately, it wasn’t originally optioned with Apple CarPlay. It looks like I can just pay BMW to activate it over the air for $450. But I don’t know if it will be full screen by default or only 2/3rd screen. My cars current IDrive6 Firmware is NBTevo_Y24073J.

Some sources say it should be full screen right away because it’s a more recent version of the firmware. And other sources say I’ll need to recode the settings with a 3rd party service to activate the full screen.

Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you :)
