Trying to rebuild my discipline with a simple daily tracking routine.
I’ve been struggling with consistency lately. I realised that I kept jumping between different habit apps, notebooks, and systems, and none of them stuck. Everything felt too complicated, and I’d lose momentum after a few days.
So I tried stripping things down. I built a tiny tool for myself — nothing fancy, just a simple way to record whether I did the things I said I’d do each day. One tap, done. No rewards, no animations, no distractions. Just a streak and a reminder that I either showed up or I didn’t.
It’s been helping, mostly because it forces me to face the truth:
Did I do the thing today, or did I avoid it?
I’m posting this because I’m curious how others here rebuild discipline when they feel scattered.
Do you track your actions?
Do you rely on routines, apps, journals, or something else?
What actually keeps you accountable?
If anyone wants to hear more about the little tool I made for myself, I can explain it in the comments — but mainly I’m interested in learning how you stay disciplined day‑to‑day.
