Between Two Fires looking for recommendation regarding edition

I Like reading in paperback format better, I do however enjoy a few nice looking hardcover editions on my shelf.

Question is- is this book worth it on the shelf as a hardcover sprayed edges edition? Is it heavy to read? Is it worth it on a shelf as a hardcover? I'd be happy to get recommendation or which way you decided to go. If you have both and can recommend from that perspective that's awesome.
