Research intership for international UG students

I'm a fourth-year dual-degree student at IIT Kharagpur looking for a research internship in the summer of 2027. Is there any program for international undergraduate students to pursue a research internship at KFUPM? If yes, please share the details.

Do I need to email professors directly for research internships?

What are the possibilities for an on-site internship? How much stipend do students receive for joining an onsite research internship?

Also apart from summer, can I join a remote research internship now
