Pre-seed behavioral health care coordination startup: what would make you take a first meeting?
I’m building Unity CareLink, an early-stage care coordination platform focused on improving communication and continuity across behavioral health and community care.
The problem we’re trying to solve is simple: people often move between providers, programs, families, and support systems without a reliable coordination layer connecting everyone involved. Important information, follow-ups, and responsibilities can get lost between transitions.
We’re currently developing the MVP and speaking with potential partners and advisors. I’m starting to think more seriously about a pre-seed round, but I’d rather understand what investors actually need to see than lead with a pitch.
For those who invest at the pre-seed stage: what would make a company like this worth taking a first meeting with? Product progress, pilots, LOIs, founder-market fit, early revenue, team, something else?
Genuinely interested in how you evaluate opportunities this early.
