Bad Decision W/ Course, I think...
Got an offer for BA Communications, PR & Advertising at City St George's, London. Trying to figure out if this is a "mickey mouse" degree or if it's actually respected.
Context: I want to go into marketing analytics eventually, but I didn't get the grades for other top London unis, and City actually rejected me from their Business with Marketing course, so this Comms/PR/Advertising course is what I've got left there.
Question is, if I do this degree, can I follow it up with a masters (something like Strategic Marketing or Marketing Communications, Marketing Analytics) to boost employability and still have a shot at getting into marketing/analytics/consulting roles? Or does a masters like that not actually help if the goal is analytics specifically?
Would appreciate honest opinions, not just "it'll be fine" - trying to actually plan this properly & stop stressing.
