Moms to young kids- how do you handle chronic fatigue?

Tips and Recommendations

My son is a very active toddler. Dad is heavily involved in day to day but I struggle with keeping up on a daily basis. I feel constantly exhausted and finding the energy to play with my son drains me physically, I feel like I’m missing out on such an important stage of his early life which makes me miserable. I’m not even trying to constantly entertain him, simply looking to build a lasting connection through play that can sometimes be physically demanding (chasing around the playground and so on).
I’ve been on hormonal birth control for over 6 months now (hormonal IUD) but I hate the side effects. I feel irritated constantly and borderline depressive so I’m considering taking it off to only manage my symptoms with pelvic floor therapy and other options I’m still exploring. It hasn’t done much in terms of symptom management anyway. I’m trying to exercise regularly to build more resilience and thinking maybe doing something more cardio oriented would help?
Any fellow moms who would have recommendations to share on what helped you especially with managing fatigue?
Thanks
