Good strip/night clubs to visit

Me and my best friend are staying in Australia for a week and want to explore all the scenery and see the wildlife while also doing some activities like windsurfing and stuff but also want to have some fun during the evening hours.

We're staying around Newcastle and would like to know any good clubs to visit so we can have some fun.
