Torbay living

Hi all!! My partner and I are seriously thinking about moving to Torbay. He grew up in Mount Pearl but is less familiar with that area.
I’ve done some research, but please tell me everything you can, good, bad, quirks.

-Without sidewalks, how is the walkability in neighborhoods? Traffic doesn’t seem too bad in the residential areas. I’m a wanderer and love to explore.
- are there good walking trails (aside from from east coast trail) around the more inland neighborhoods off Indian Meal Line?
-can you hear a lot of airplane traffic around there?

And anything else you think would be import at to know.
