Offshore Subclass 500 timeline

Hi everyone, looking for some advice/experiences from anyone who has recently applied for an Australian Student Visa from the UK.

My husband is applying for a Subclass 500 to study a VET course, starting in October.
We were originally expecting the visa to be lodged in July, but we’re now in August and it’s still not lodged by our agent he’s telling us there’s still plenty time and he’s just finalising everything. We’ve provided everything requested and paid all the required visa costs around a month ago. We’re currently just waiting for the final documents to sign.
We were hoping to move to Perth in September with our children to get settled before the course starts, so we’re getting quite anxious about the delays.
Has anyone recently applied offshore for a VET Student visa

Would you still be hopeful of getting it before October if lodged this week?
