Building in PERTH WA-Homegroup

My partner M30 and I F26 just had prestart today for our new build that we’re paying over 800k for just to find out that the house interior walls don’t include paint on the inside. Feeling extremely ripped off atm. Is this the same with other builders too? What are your experiences?
