Hot house in Tocantins
I live in a rural area of Tocantins in a house built six years ago. It features a veranda, which is typical for the region, and has a ceramic tile roof. The house has no chimney—something I’ve observed to be the norm here. There is a ceiling inside, but from what I can tell, there is no thermal insulation above the ceiling or beneath the roof tiles, nor is there any attic ventilation. Are there any solutions used to help hot air escape from the attic? I’ve been looking at the houses around here and don't see any high-mounted gable vents, ventilation tiles, or anything similar. What solution should I choose to lower the attic temperature without having to tear off the roof? 😉
