My girlfriend’s birthday is on 23 September, but honestly I’ve been planning everything for her for a long time. I’m trying to make it more personal this year instead of just buying expensive stuff.

I’m giving her mostly handmade and personal gifts. I’ve already made 22 love letters for her, got her a golden dress, a photo frame, some Polaroid pictures, a frame with her childhood photos, and a personal diary with bookmarks.

I’ve put a lot of thought into everything because I want her to have things that actually mean something to her and not just random gifts.

Now I also want to add something related to makeup, but this is where I’m completely clueless. I do know that she likes light-shade lip glosses, especially pink and red. She also likes shimmery rose shades and wants to try a berry tint. She loves lipstick, especially when she wears traditional Indian outfits. She usually likes light pink and sometimes dark pink shades too.

She also likes silver jewellery with shiny stones or pearl-like details and doesn’t really like gold.

What makeup or beauty-related gift would you actually love receiving from your boyfriend? And if you can suggest some good products or brands within a reasonable budget, please do.

Please save me from buying the wrong shade. (Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua)
