Pivoting from product management to clinical research

Hi everyone,

I have 6 years of experience in product management for medical devices and implants and looking to pivot into clinical research as a next step.

I am a biomedical engineer by training but have had exposure to clinical trials and investigations in my product management experience and have really enjoyed those parts of the job. I see many product management skills as transferable, but definitely feel theres some work to be done to be able to pivot this way.

As I move to Basel soon, I thought it would be a good time to explore options to get into the space. I am open to moving to Pharma or biotech. Can anyone share their experience or advice on what job roles to look for? Or what steps to take to be ready for the market.
