Surgery was cancelled and I'm questioning having the open myomectomy

I developed hyperthyroidism and surgery was postponed until I have it figured out or I can go into a thyroid storm.

I was supposed to have surgery on the 20th and honestly I didn't feel ready yet so while disappointing I'm also a little relieved. Now I'm questioning having the open procedure.

My Dr initially offered to do a D and C as it is less invasive. She said if it didn't work we can do a myomectomy.

Now I'm wondering if I should do that approach first? She also wanted to do a sample of my endometrial lining so this would be two birds with one stone.
