There are no improv groups in my town. Any tips on how to practice solo and eventually create one?

Just as the title says. My country has no culture of improv that I know of, and my city has no group focused on that.

I'd like to pratice it and get good enough at it so I can maybe start a group. Any beginner tips, books or guides?
