Books about AA/NA/12 steps (memoir / fiction)

I’m looking for more insight into the nature and goings-on of AA / NA groups and 12-step-programs.

I’m not looking for books written specifically to preach their effectiveness. More a personal insight into the good, the bad and the ugly.

I’ve read ‘We All Fall Down’ by Nic Sheff and have become steadily more fascinated.
