About a month ago I jumped into physical media so much so I literally had to purchase the Book case you see in the right to start show casing my collection instead of them being in a drawer,

Also picked up a Panasonic UB820 and upgraded to a Lg s80tr surround sound (don’t really have the capital to go fully into huge full systems just yet wanted to just get into this whole hobby first so don’t attack lol)

Safe to say I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole
So far I’ve learned:

• **4K isn’t always better than Blu-ray** and researching the transfer before buying is definitely worth it. Looking at you terminator 2 and pirates curse of black pearl !!!

• **Collecting in Australia can be tough**, especially with Disney and other titles that are difficult or impossible to find locally. ( soo much ebay or importing -.- )

• **Importing opens up a whole new world.** UK Blu-rays are Region B just like Australia, some US Blu-rays are region free, and 4K UHD discs are basically region free.

What I thought would just be *“buy movie, watch movie”* has quickly become researching transfers, regions and international releases

I thought i’d share a little video as I just got my favourite Disney movie Aladdin imported from UK with my new Govee lights all up and running :)
