**1. Claude for deep thinking**

Use Claude when the quality of reasoning matters more than speed.

→ Complex reasoning
→ Long documents
→ Writing and editing
→ Pressure testing ideas
→ Challenging assumptions before execution

Claude is the thinking partner.

Its job is to bring clarity, depth, and better judgment to the work.

**2. ChatGPT for everyday creation**

Use ChatGPT when you need to turn an idea into something useful quickly.

→ Generate and refine images
→ Research unfamiliar topics
→ Analyse data
→ Build repeatable workflows
→ Create Custom GPTs

ChatGPT is the execution layer.

Its strength is moving from a blank page to a usable output.

**3. Perplexity for sourced discovery**

Use Perplexity when evidence matters.

→ Find cited answers
→ Conduct multi step web research
→ Trace claims to supporting sources
→ Find current information quickly

You do not need Perplexity for every task.

But when speed and evidence matter together, it becomes extremely useful.

**4. Gemini for Google native work**

Use Gemini when your company's information already lives inside Google's ecosystem.

→ Deep Research
→ Gmail context
→ Google Drive files
→ Google Workspace workflows

Gemini reduces the distance between AI and the information your team already uses.

# The simple decision rule

Need to **think or write?** → Claude

Need to **create or research?** → ChatGPT

Need **sourced answers?** → Perplexity

Need **Google integration?** → Gemini

The mistake is trying to declare one AI the winner.

There is no permanent winner.

There is only the right tool for the job.

And choosing the tool is only the first step.

Before the work begins, define:

**What is the expected output?**

**What evidence is required?**

**What quality standard must it meet?**

**Who reviews the result?**

Because a four tool stack without clear handoff rules does not create an AI powered team.

It creates four subscriptions, four workflows, and the same bottleneck you had before.

The competitive advantage is not having access to every AI tool.

It is knowing **which tool should handle which job.**
