I’m currently designing a custom modular creative console for creators , editors and power users , and I’d like to gather some feedback on what features you’d actually want to see built into it. The Core Concept: Modular Hardware: the console consist of a bunch of different modules that you can snap together for your specific workflow. Dynamic Haptic Feedback: Rotary knobs and sliders feature active haptics that can dynamically simulating physical detents, variable resistance, end-stops, or notches depending on what program or tool you are using. Marketplace: Software integrations won't be locked down. Users can write custom scripts/plugins using Lua, or simply download community created profiles and integrations from a dedicated plugin marketplace (think MakerWorld, but for console tools and software integrations). I’m purely looking to validate the concept and see what features matter most to potential users. I'd love to hear your thoughts: Features & Modules: What specific hardware modules (e.g., trackballs, macro keys, touch displays) or software features would be a must-have for you? Plugin Ecosystem: Would having an ability to create pluginse and an easy-to-use plugin marketplace make you more likely to integrate a device like this into your workflow? Is this something you’d genuinely see yourself using? Any feature requests, critiques, or hardware ideas are super welcome!
