Getting up early happened but priming didn’t, so I managed to squeeze it in after school pick-up and before kid activities started 🫠

Priming is what it is, went by uneventfully. Quirk of my setup means I did it in two bits; batch sprayed the easy to get to stuff on the bench then gave them all a little individual tummy tickle where the first spray couldn’t get.

Noticed one sprue mark I missed during priming which I was able to pinch off with the snips and hand paint over the mark. Spotted another during contrasting but was on too much of a mission to take a pic.

Got contrast paint down on 8/12 of the models before my back told me enough was enough 😅 my dining table setup is far from ergonomic.

Far out these are so fiddly and time consuming to contrast properly! I feel like I’m going about as fast as I can for a decent result, but it’s a grind. I mean, most of this scheme is grinding at the point to be fair.

I also need to remember it’s not a race 😅 I’m just interested to track how long this actually took and to have some extra accountability to finish them and not get distracted.

Anyway thanks for reading my cool story. How long do you think it will take to get all 12 done?
