FSD over everything?
Long time viewer, first time caller. I currently lease a 2023 Tesla model Y and love it, esp the FSD, did enough research to see that owning one is worth it as part degradation is much lower compared to combustion engine (gas/diesel cars) as parts dont heat up nearly as much. Now I want to get one for my wife (we have 2 little kids). However my only concern is the range. Ideally I want 400+ miles, especially with battery degradation. My Tesla currently gets me 280 realistically as I drive a lot.
Factoring FSD, range, and general long term wear & tear…
- when can we expect Teslas to significantly increase their range (100mi+)?
- is competition eventually getting better FSD than Tesla even worth considering?
- anything else I should be asking?
