Thoughts while playing a level

I just realised whenever i play a level i rarely ever think about the level. I dont know i just think of the most random stuff, like right now while playing supersonic i thought about this. This especially happens if i have played the in practice mode a few times and i know the gameplay by muscle memory. Is that only me? I dont even know if it would be easier to beat a level if I fully think about what im doing while playing. I hope that makes sence. Do you guys actually think about the level your playing?
