Fuck you, Steam Cloud and online-preferred games

I've decided to turn off Steam Cloud because I was trying to be offline for a prolonged period of time. This for some reason, ended up fucking up a lot of saves and profiles of mine to where I'm not recognized with the launcher. Like with Killing Floor 2, everytime I load that game, I am referred to as 'Player 0' and every perk I've busted as to level up, is reset to 0 as well. When I had been 25 in all of them.

And now I'm currently fighting with Steam and that game to fix it. As if that wasn't enough to deal with, there's another game I liked playing called Virtual Pool 4, for casual downtime. When I decided to go offline, I couldn't get the game to run, it'd launch but I would never see its window. Turns out, it needed to be online to function. Imagine that.

This is where pirating came to save the day, had to go download a pirated copy to play the damn thing offline even though my paid copy prefers its ass to be online just to function. Fucking asinine the things we have to do to get certain things to run.
