Book about teenage shoplifter who mysteriously finds herself in 1800’s

I read this book in junior high, possibly high school (1970’s, early 80’s). Can’t even remember how it ended. The teenager goes home and discovers that her home doesn’t have her own family living there but another family from the 1800’s. They take her in and she stays with them for a while. They have a carriage and horses and use a brick warmed in the fireplace and wrapped in flannel to place at the end of the bed as a foot warmer.
