Is there ANYWAY I can make the deflect window smaller?

I have tried smithbox, and its only removed all leniency, and I tried using DSAnimStudio, but figured out after a few hours that its hardcoded directly INTO the game, like binary or some shi idk. If ANYONE has the skills to reverse engineer this wretched game I'll mail you a nice letter or something.
