12 AM EST Restaurant Booking - Errors Galore

I read before that some people have had issues at 12 AM EST when booking opens and I thought to myself - "It can't be that bad, surely."

I was wrong. The entire App bricks itself and the website is unusable. Every time for our cruise for all restaurants but Razzle Dazzle were booked out until 9PM by the time I was able to get a dining slot selected and submitted on either the app or the website. It was 22 minutes before anything we selected was able to go through without receiving an error message.

A few questions:

(1) Does anyone have any tips/tricks for the website/app to not completely brick itself while trying to book dining times on release?

(2) Has anyone had luck with booking restaurants on board when more slots open up without priority/early boarding time?

(3) What experiences have people had with the new queue system on the ships for checking in at restaurants and having the mobile queue when you don't have a reservation?
