Just curious

Hello everyone, I am just curious about something. When playing the game, do you picture yourself as the MC or is MC your OC?
I’ve been thinking about this lately because my MC is an OC I’ve created in my head a long time ago, even before I knew the game existed. It also made me realize that I perceive things within the game a bit differently, like my main LI is not my OC’s main Does that make sense? I’ve been thinking about that a lot because I know many players picture themselves as MC, however if I was in the game, I’d see myself as an annoying side character who comments about everything. My MC and me are way too different from each other in my head…
I’m not expecting a long discussion or anything, I am just curious if I’m an odd ball if anyone felt the same about this.
