Firefox Keeps Asking for a Passkey When Signing In to OneDrive

Hello,

I’m having trouble signing in to my OneDrive account using Firefox. After entering my login, a “Windows Security – Sign in with your passkey” window appears.

If I select “Cancel”, I can choose “Other ways to sign in” and then select the password option. However, after entering my password, I receive the following message:

“Password sign-in isn't available. Try another method.”

I have already tried clearing cookies and creating a new Firefox profile, but the problem still persists.

Interestingly, I can sign in to the same OneDrive account without any issues using Chrome or my smartphone. It therefore seems that the problem is specific to Firefox.
