23 [F4M] Need some thing to break the monotony: How do you spice up a long term thing?

I've been seeing this guy for six months now, and while the chemistry is still there, we've fallen into this routine. We know what works, we know what we like, but I miss that raw, desperate hunger that comes with the first few times. I want to shake things up, but I don't want to scare him off. How do you introduce new, more intense play like maybe some light restraint or more aggressive positions without making it feel like a rehearsed performance? I want it to feel spontaneous and filthy again, not like a chore.
