Partner work test for ppl

Hi all, I am giving birth in January and am hoping to claim parental leave pay from Centrelink. I should meet the work test as I work full time and have done so the past 12 months since having my first child in 2024. However, my partner (biological father) has not worked the past 12 months as he has been the full time carer of our 2 year old. He is now back working full time, however it would mean he doesnt meet the work test. Does this mean I won't be eligible for government paid parental leave? I am finding this a bit unclear on the website, so any experiences with this would be appreciated!
