Civil case filed for an injunction/stay order is dormant since 4 years.
Plaintiff A has filed a civil case for a stay order on Defendant B’s property and his tenants. Plaintiff A wants B to stop collecting rents, making changes to the property etc. Plaintiff A has submitted a 90 page document similar to a masala movie script alleging and defaming defendant B without a single evidentiary proof of wrongdoing. Zero documentation.
Currently the case has been inactive/dormant since 4 years. We were never served summons. We found out about the case through a common relative. The lawyer for the plaintiff A has stopped showing up since 1 year.

Why is the judge not dismissing the case? Will he dismiss the case?
-
Can he keep this case on the back burner and submit proof later, as and when he procures it?
-
If no one from the defendant side is showing up will the judge eventually dismiss the case?
-
Can an injunction order proceed ex parte?
