Magistrate and Judge messed up my paperwork.

Location: North Carolina I am in the middle of a DV situation, as I was at the magistrate my husband stole a lot but most importantly my cats. A DV advocate helped me fill out paperwork and we made sure to include my animals in the dvpo. I went to the magistrate, the dv advocate had to go somewhere else, the magistrate granted me the house, the car, and my cats. SHE SAID SHE MARKED THE BOX. This was last Friday. I go to court yesterday, I’m told I was never granted the animals because the magistrate and judge did not check the box. & I was missing paperwork and they “lost” a piece I filled out.

They’re telling me I cannot do anything about my cats and them messing up the paperwork until I speak to my legal aid Monday.

PLEASE HELP ME WHAT CAN I DO!!!!
