MTB along my roadtrip to Balkans, Greece and south Italy

Hey guys, I'm planning a road trip through the Balkans, Greece, and Southern Italy (from Puglia to Sicily).

I don't want to go four weeks without mountain biking, so I wanted to ask the community if you know of any good MTB spots along the way. I won't be bringing my bike, so places where I can rent one would be ideal.

I checked trailforks, but these regions are almost empty...

Any recommendations would be appreciated!
