Hot take: I’m happy to have a scripted curriculum this year

Everything’s there. Last year I supplemented so much even with a scripted curriculum. I can’t be bothered this year. I will still teach it to the best of my ability and fill in gaps as needed, but I’m not making cutsey assignments and extra slides above what’s strictly necessary
