Stargazing for tonight near NYC

Does anyone know a great spot to stargaze for tonight Aug 12. I’m willing to go up to 4 hours from NYC, my biggest concern is the weather/cloudy skies. Anyone know a a place with good views and that will be clear? Our first choice was cherry springs park but I’m reading that it will be cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms.
