Laser Hair Removal Technique
Hey all!
I recently switched the place where I get my beard removed. At my old clinic they set the laser to the face, waited 1-2 seconds and then ‘shot’ hurt like hell, but my beard really cleared up within 4 sessions already. That was done with a diode laser.
The new place is using alexandrite. Perfect for my skin and hair combo. Fitzpatrick II with almost black hair, brown hair.
But. Instead of doing the set, wait, shoot. They keep dragging the laser continuously over the entire face. It still hurt like hell on the upper lip, but I am a bit concerned these guys might be doing something weird? Or not enough energy for a male beard?
It was the first time i could not smell burned hair during a session. But my leftover hair has become a lot thinner and sparser so maybe there just isn’t as much to burn. I also used to be super red in the face after a session, this time it was way less.
Does anyone have any experience with the way this is done? All the girls I asked in the community had the ‘stamping’ done as I had it initially.
Thanks for any insight you might have!
