Epilepsy and bad moods

Hi all, I have a question re epilepsy. I do not have epilepsy myself.

my partner suffers with seizures, and he’s prone to frustration. He gets very easily distracted which seems to add to the frustration. He says all these issues stem from his seizures.

unfortunately, I have to bear brunt of his foul moods when it gets too much for him. I try and help as much as I can but can’t be around 24/7. it’s getting to a point where this happens multiple times a day and it’s starting to affect *my* mood too.

Wondering if anyone here can give some insight into how epilepsy can affect mood and attention? Anything I can suggest to help with these issues?
