Stop putting the person you love on a pedestal. Follow the checklist before you get attached to anyone.
\- Remove the romance part.
\- A crush, a person whom you like, someone you're attracted to, just see them as a normal human being.
\- Remove the fantasy reality.
\- Get them back on the ground. Don't put them on a pedestal at any cost.
\- Know that you just met them. Maybe you're just attracted to their physical looks, but you've watched so much rom-com shit that you're now thinking about them in fantasy.
\- Make data the god.
\- Base the person's value in your life on the basis of data.
\- Don't make any person superior just because you found them beautiful or pretty.
\- Remember that they're just as human as you.
\- Just like you, they fart, they shit, they have a past.
\- They have their own traumas, their own attachment style, their own people they associate themselves with.
\- They have their own priorities, goals, likes, dislikes, people they follow and 20+ bs going on their life.
\- Please actually take these things into account.
\- Don't let desperation make the decisions for you.
\- I know you're getting desperate.
\- Remember the priorities in your life and see if you're actually available for dating or not.
\- Does this person support your journey or misdirect it?
\- Start with friendship.
\- Get to know them in person.
\- Observe them.
\- See how they behave.
\- See how they communicate.
\- See what kind of person they actually are.
\- Don't judge too quickly.
\- You're currently getting data.
\- Don't create a whole personality for them in your head before you actually know them.
\- Give them a priority based on who they actually are.
\- Base the whole personality of the person on the basis of who they are.
\- Then give them a priority in your life accordingly.
\- And if the other person also does that, let the relationship develop naturally.
Hope this helps!
