Wondering how much different G6 vs G5 is

I got a G5 55" for at least 12 months now and I am super happy with it as my monitor, and TV for my AppleTV. It is the best thing that I have ever bought for myself. I don't see any dithering from my distance (130cm). I basically have no issues with it so I am not going to upgrade until 240hz comes to G series.

However I was wondering, how much difference the 12-bit/13-bit processing makes. Does it fix/improve anytning? Or is G6 just a brighter G5? To me G5 with Tandem OLED was a huge upgrade to my old C2 42" (evo OLED)
