For those who have taken Numerical Linear Algebra did your exams focus heavily on theorem derivations, proofs, and error bound formulas? Or was it strictly applying the algorithms (like QR decomposition, Gaussian elimination, etc.) to solve calculation questions? Trying to figure out if I need to study the deep theory or just practice the problem-solving mechanics. Thanks!
