Crazy making

I got a text from a dentist in my city wishing my mom a happy birthday (on her birthday).

My mom has never used that dentist (neither have I), and has never lived in this city, so it's not a case where she used my phone number for something (which is a different thing she does that annoys me).

It's probably just spam, she gets hacked a lot and probably my number was given to spammers with these details (it doesn't appear to be the real phone number of the dentist).

I feel crazy for this, but a more paranoid part of me feels like she somehow did this on purpose so I'd get a text reminding me it's her birthday. I don't forget her birthday (even if she has forgotten mine), but she'll act like I must have since I don't call her first thing in the morning, or while I'm working, or spend the whole day talking to her.

She's not tech savvy, she didn't do that, but if she knew how to she probably would. And I'm just left feeling completely crazy that it even crossed my mind.
