Any tips to keep your followers entertained (keeping the follower count)?

Question

I'm completelly clueless, I got +2k followers from a reel that became viral (it's a very small original animation with 1.4M likes and 26M views as of now), and so I kept making animation reels in the same formula (but not in the exact topic, of course), but ever since that I kept losing followers?

Today I even posted on my story some work in progress for my next reel (it was even a fully finished shot), and then... 10 unfollows while I was lunching! What the heck?

I heard that meta is purging accounts as of latelly, but I'm pretty sure that these unfollows are intentional from real people.

Do you guys have any tips to understand how to even satisfy your followers at all? I feel like that becoming viral was a negative thing for my account and image ("oh no! millions of likes! how devastating!"), because all of this exposure really messed up with my upload schedule and the way I do my art. Every step I make, I lose followers no matter what.

I mostly do animations that are reliant on slapstick "humour" (characters always exploding at the end, etc.) and relatable in some way (but not that millenial stuff that the internet is now making fun of).
It's all original animations with original characters too, I rarelly do fan animations (although those perform well, I don't want to rely on existing IP to grow my account).

Btw before this viral thing I only had 30 followers and would only receive 1-2 likes on my stuff, and now its my most followed account (for now...) and the first time I ever got 4 digit followers. So I'm sorry if this post comes as inexperienced or repetitive (because most of the results I got was that meta purges accounts, which it's totally not the case here).
