Scotland... manager drove at 58mph in a 30mph zone to intimidate me, reported it, now being frozen out

Scotland

Scotland. Been subcontracted to the same company for about 18 months, day rate, mostly working on a big utility contract. Bit of background - there's one guy on my crew (team manager) who's been a nightmare to work with for months, other folk have left over him before.

Two weeks ago he was meant to drop me home after a shift and wasn't happy about it, ended up doing about 58mph up my street which is a 30 limit, braked hard right after. I reported it to my manager same day by phone. Went to a group chat that night basically saying "you two need to sort your issues out or you're both getting binned" - which didn't sit right with me being told that after someone drove like that with me in the van.

Met the director a few days later, told him straight I wasn't getting back in a vehicle with this guy or sitting in a joint meeting with him. He said he'd call me the next day with an update. That was two weeks ago. Nothing since.

Meanwhile I've been quietly dropped from the group chat we use for work allocation and left off the rota.

I'm CIS self employed on paper but don't really work like it - fixed rota, company van/tools/PPE, no say in my hours, can't send someone else in my place

Anyone dealt with anything like this? Wondering if I've actually got any protection here given the CIS thing, or if I'm just up the creek because of how I'm engaged.
