AITA for commenting on fiances 3 day bachelor party?
I (37 F) am a stay at home mom to 3 year old twin boys. Fiance (40 M) works but is a very present and hands-on father when he is at home. Weve been together for 10 years and are getting married in December after a long engagement. I have been the main organizer throughout this process including dealing with venue, vendors, decor, invitations, wedding party details, etc. My MOH is planning a one-evening bachelorette party for me which will be something relatively short and sweet as all of us have kids and know we wont want to deal with the hangovers the next day. It is rare that the girls get together without at least one of our kids present (maybe a few times per year that we can manage to coordinate with all of the guys to watch all of their kids at the same time while we go for lunch or something simple). I am fine with the bachelorette being small and chill as my focus is more about the actual wedding and marriage and it's been years since I've felt like a "bachelorette" anyway. My fiance is having a 3-day bachelor party 2 hours away at an AirBnB to play boardgames uninterrupted with his childless friends whom he pretty much exclusively sees without any kids present (including our own). I recently commented that it was a bit unfair that he was going away for 3 days while I was only having a one-evening event. I am not asking him to cancel and I would not want to attempt to organize a 3-day thing for my bachelorette as I realize it would not be practical for all of the moms to pull off. I was simply venting that the dynamics are different. AITA for commenting?
