310s unexpected

I wrote the 310s test on Monday and I did it through the trade equivalency assessment rather than the schooling and apprenticeship way. I have extended training in electrical diag through multiple 3rd party in person centres. I have to say I was shocked at the complexity of the test, i would say 80% of my whole test revolved around electrical diags on all the systems in each category like brakes, transmission, hvac, transfer case and DEF systems. I maybe received 4 questions about mechanical noises or issues like steering wheel pull. But everything else strictly related to wiring issues, diagrams, voltage drop tests on certain points in the diagrams. Has anyone else received this style of a test ? I immediately thought that it is very unlikely for an apprentice to come out of school and answer these complex questions.
