Should I get CTEC certification?

I couldn’t find entry level bookkeeping job so I was thinking Since tax season is coming up, I should get CTEC certification so I can get seasonal tax job and maybe with that experience, it’ll be easier to get hired for bookkeeping job later. Do you think that plan will work or no?
