Looking for GMAT tutoring recommendations — need help urgently!
Hi everyone!
I recently took my diagnostic GMAT mock and scored 425. I had enrolled in an online GMAT tutoring course, but I’m finding that the teaching is quite fast-paced. The basics are covered very quickly, and classes typically go through only 3–4 questions. More importantly, the course doesn’t provide sectional tests or enough full-length mocks, which I feel I really need at this stage.
I’m looking for a structured tutoring/course that covers all three sections: Quant, Verbal, and Data Insights, with a strong focus on building fundamentals and gradually moving to GMAT-level questions.
I need to take the GMAT by October at the latest, so I’m looking for something that can help me make significant progress within a relatively short timeframe.
For those who have prepared recently:
- Which GMAT coaching/tutoring course would you genuinely recommend?
- Are there any 1:1 tutors or small-batch classes or self-paced classes that are particularly good for students starting at a lower score?
- Which courses provide regular sectional tests, full-length mocks, and detailed performance analysis?
- How much time did you realistically need to see a significant improvement in your score?
- Are there any courses/resources you would avoid based on your experience?
- If you started around the 400–450 range, what helped you improve the most?
I’d really appreciate recommendations based on actual experience, especially if you’ve taken the current GMAT. I’m hoping to finalise something soon, so recommendations would be extremely helpful!
